FAQS

  • Who are we?

"Come as you are - you're welcome here"

We are a non-denominational Church of Christ/ Christian Church. We are passionate about worship; we pray and praise God together on a weekly basis.

We seek to apply God's Word to our daily lives. Here at NFCC we are more than a church- we are a family. We are dedicated to serving our community and creating a space where everyone can experience God's grace.

 " Discover Faith. Find family"

  • What is the dress code?

our attire is casual dress.

We simply ask that you dress modestly so as not to be a distraction for others. As a community, we aim to honor God and one another in the way we present ourselves. Modestly is not about restriction but about reflecting humility, dignity, and love in all we do.

  • What is Bunko? Bunko is a social dice game typically played with 12 or more people, divided into groups of four. Players take turn rolling three dice in a series of rounds, aiming to score points.

  • Is there a Nursery for bed babies and toddlers?

Yes, our church nursery offers a welcoming, playful environment staffed by caring volunteers committed to creating a safe and joyful experience for every child.

  • Is there something for my older children to do?

We sure do; we have an amazing Christ centered youth and children's group for ages 5 and above. We provide a safe place for children and teens to grow spiritually, serve others, and enjoy community.

  • Who can I talk to if I want to learn more about NFCC?

We would love to answer any questions you have about NFCC. If you didn't find what you were looking for here on our webpage, please call (804) 798-4004 and someone will connect you with our minister John Pate or one of our Elders and Deacons.

  • How do you become a Christian?

Deciding that you want to have Faith and believe is always the first step. Next you must confess several things.

  1. Jesus is the Son of God.
  2. Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins.
  3. Jesus defeated death, came back to life and reign in Heaven with God.

Becoming a Christian requires Repenting. Repenting is a process in which you are turning away from your sin.

You will never fully conquer sin in your life, but the goal is to aim at living a Christ like life.

Repentance requires us to pray to God and admit we are a sinner. Then you can ask God to forgive you and lead your life. From that moment on is where your spiritual journey begins.
